The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I just saw that Rep. Diane Black of Tennessee is blaming pr0n for school shootings.
She's talking about the wrong kind of shootings from pron, I think.
Is this the old "it creates unreasonable expectations in young men who then can't handle the rejection" thing?

Update: A Russian journalist faked his death yesterday to help Ukrainian authorities catch the death squad sent to kill him. And then he went on TV and spoke calmly about the whole thing. So Tom Cruise is definitely not done making movies yet.

Maybe there's some real numbers out there, but as far as I can tell, this whole anti-straw mania largely started because an eighth grader did a phone survey and came up with the number of 8 billions straws per year used by Americans.
If you have any sense, you will now invest in single packaged straws to sell like "loosies" outside of restaurants or elsewhere.
When we were at Disney last month the Starbucks in Animal Kingdom used recyclable straws and I wasn't fond of them. I'm not sure the Earth is worth that sort of discomfort.
