Ugh, two great songs, and in a way the songs that made and remade their careers. Beautiful Day is probably the better composition and performance, but I Will Follow is basically the perfect encapsulation of early U2. It's the only song you need from Boy or October.

I'm gonna vote for I Will Follow, but if Beautiful Day crushes it at least it lost to a great song

I have to agree with the inclusion of Gloria. It may not be the strongest track, but it certainly stands out among their early recordings.

Anyway, this is like comparing White Riot to Train in Vain. Both incredible songs for totally different reasons but at the end of the day there is still an obvious answer. Train in Vain/Beautiful Day.
