i dunno what the festival legal rules are in the EU, but the US has some insane rules about when/where bands can play around the time of the festival. they get locked in pretty hard. i'd imagine only a band like PJ could get away with something like playing a second solo show so near the date. not saying that their timing of announcement was out of the goodness of their heart or for maximum money ... but there could have been some weird restrictions around it from Pinkpop lawyers

There's usually the same kind of restrictions over here as well. So this schedule is a huge surprise. I know PJ/Eddie usually stay in Amsterdam for about a week when they come and I know Pinkpop has been trying for years (basically since Euro 06) to get PJ back, but always failed, so there's surely some agreement somewhere.

Ed's playing Ohana again; his set is Sept. 29. I had a blast when I went two years ago. I priced airfares though and they're running twice as high this time.

Did we ever figure out what was suppose to be between Chicago and Boston?

if you take the northern route... cleveland, buffalo, and upstate NY if you go south, you'd hit Pittsburgh, and NYC.
just depends on what kind of sightseeing you want to do, i suppose
Figured it was probably Philadelphia or Pittsburgh.
