This show has reached Friends-levels of character predictability:
Richard: "Don't I look like I have to go diarrhea while trying to portray an outwardly cool confidence about my tech/leadership ideas?"
Dinesh: "In Pakistan, I was such a nerd, but in Silicon Valley, I'm super hip...right?"
Gilfoyle: [delivered in a flat affect] "Something something satanism/nihilism."
Jared: "Something something super oddball/creepy."
I'll continue to watch because the Jared character's lines are just so great, and a lot of the side characters continue to rule. But the core cast has been running on fumes for 2+ seasons.

I really enjoyed the finale, it flew by and was surprisingly tense. And yes, as usual Zach Woods' line delivery was spot on, particularly that one at the camp site.

The ending of last season would've really been a good ending to the show. They only have back down to go now. And I don't really know how enjoyable that would be.

I've found this season to be mostly enjoyable with a few good jokes/lines but also quickly forgotten about. Like the series has been to me during its run.

It’s over. Whatever. Russ Fest was a good episode, and the finale was decent enough. Making Thomas Middleditch the unofficial center of the universe was a choice that was never gonna sit well with me. Wish he’d disappeared in like S2. Some good moments throughout, but I’d put this in the bottom of the Mike Judge world.

I feel the need to stick up for Thomas Middleditch in this show (nowhere else, though), this finale, and Silicon Valley in general. This was a solid finale, Middleditch was perfect for this and the show could not have functioned without him exactly as he was, and this show ranks above Idiocracy as the greatest thing Mike Judge has ever created.
