The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
15 years ago this show at Nassau Coliseum is still the best of the 15 I've attended.
RVM second set the tone for an intense night.

It's been said plenty on this board, but the last two weeks of April 2003......best band on the planet!
Revisited the Daughter from this show last night. Starts at 1:50. If I could only share one aspect of Pearl Jam with a stranger, it would be these 6 minutes.

God i miss that band. Locked in. In a mood. Zoned. Tight. Not pandering.

West Palm's always been one of my favorite from that tour, and I used to watch that screen-shot vid semi-regularly back in the DVD bootleg days.
I recently saw Live At The Garden. Its not my fav DVD from them, i only saw it from time to time. Its not my fav tour from them, but damn this one got me...maybe its because im listening to RA in a different light?
The show at the Garden was awesome. The filming never did it justice because all the shots are too tight and there’s way too much attention on the DVD to Ed. If you can listen to the bootleg and tune out the visual from the DVD, the show is phenomenal. The show the next night was quite fantastic as well.

Yeah, the DVD doesn't do that show justice...it was definitely a "you had to be in the building to understand" night
that being said, the second night is probably the better overall show
ill listen to the second night again. I remember loving it yeah....i need to get the 2003 tour a second chance for sure. Im not sure why i dont even care about it, because there are so many good shows from it.
I think it is easy to overlook this tour because the 2004-2006 tours were amazing, and built on what they started in ‘03 as a live band. The tour before, 2000, was a different animal because they kept the songs very short and tight (even Porch barely ever broke 6 minutes).
