Kramer vs Kramer. 1979. Marryl Streep is suing her ex-husband Dustin Hoffman for custody of their son. Because of the time he is dedicating to being a father, Hoffman's demanding work as an art director at an ad agency suffers. He is fired over lunch. That evening, his divorce lawyer calls him to say that they have a court date set for tomorrow, but that he doesn't stand a chance at winning custody if he does not have a job. Hoffman pledges to have a job within 24 hours. Despite the fact that it is December 22, the Friday before Christmas, Hoffman works his connections and is able to land a same-day interview for a job in the art department of a rival ad agency. Two executives have to be pulled away from the office christmas party, and Hoffman has to take a $4800 pay cut, but, miraculously, he lands the job! The first thing he does, as he walks through the party to leave the building, is to grab the head of a pretty young blonde stranger and kiss her hard on the mouth. This is a celebratory moment. 1979.

I love the first two Fifty Shades movies. I went on a Twitter thread rant about why (and why I dislike the third one) a while ago:
Also, I think Dakota Johnson is one of the best young actors on the planet. I love watching her; she's always making interesting choices in her performances.
I love The Mummy because it's so fucking weird and goofy. Tom Cruise gets tickled by a mummy. They lift the dead friend gag from An American Werewolf in London. Russell Crowe plays a cockney Hyde. Sofia Boutella is great (as usual). It never stops moving or changing gears. I think it's a blast.

Well I respect your opinions. I have to admit I haven't seen these. I have trusted sources that basically all agree these movies are terrible. Maybe I should give them a chance.
