Yeah I’m not seeing anything apart from an actor doing his best to get the readers of this article to treasure TFA and TLJ as it’s the Last well ever see of these characters. Aka doing his job promoting.

I’ll bet your entire vinyl collection right now he’ll be back in 9 and doing pr bright as a button.

You’re paying shipping.

Im not speaking anything to whether he will be in 9 or not. IM speaking to mark hamill the person and his...seemingly.....desire to begin to move on from star wars. Luke Skywalker.

That saddens me as a fan. Thats all.

I get ye. Look at his career though. Fame then 30 years wasteland. He’s delighted Star Wars came back and involved him. You’re picking one interview out of thousands where he’s over the moon. He’s probably just bored answering the same questions. I know I would be.

Lol. Im guessing Mark Hamill was more than thrilled with the career he's had. The biggest hero ever and then al ife of writing, theater, voiceovers, and eating junk food and raising a family.

he kind of had the life.

Luke fucks Mara in one night stand back in the day. Mara leaves. Turns out she's pregnant. Has the baby. Doesn't tell Luke. Has to leave the baby at with her sister. The sister sells Rey to Jacku for booze money.

EPISODE 9!

Pretty much what I was thinking. They broke up and she left pregnant and he didn’t know Rey was his daughter.

Could work. And make a billion angry fan Bois happy by bringing in mara from the eu and billions more happy that we have an answer on Rey and it’s the answer the majority of people wanted.

Do the majority of people want Rey to be a Skywalker? I didn't get that vibe at all.

It would also satisfy that other massive cohort that love complaining about everything no matter what.

This is a win win for everyone.

The most outspoken people are of two camps: 1) the saga is about Skywalkers, so Rey has to be a Skywalker and 2) they don't really care if she's a Skywalker but they're angry that Rian didn't give them one of the 800 answers they'd been speculating about for a year and a half and now have sand in their assholes about it and want to cry and complain.

Those same people forget that the main baddie is a Skywalker.

:haha:

I didn't have a problem with Rey, Finn, Snoke, or Poe.

here's my problem:
At the end of any Star Wars movie, where it transitions to Directed By..... and the soaring SW music kicks in, I get pumped up and excited that I was just on an adventure in the SW universe.

At the end of TLJ, when it transitions to Directed by Rian Johnson, and the music kicks in...I don't think the movie earned the soaring SW music at the end. It's boring.

As far as star wars is concerned? Possibly boring. Though, i dont consider it boring. it is slower. There is more story. There is more character building (regardless of you liking that or not) and its not as fun as say: ROTJ, ANH, TFA etc...

There is a lot going on in the movie that requires digestion which is why I love it. I first walked out of the theater confused and slightly let down.

But now? Oh baby.

I really don't think Mara Jade will be in this.... BUT IF she is... it would be a really cool way to bring another powerhouse lady to help fill the void left by the passing of Carrie Fisher. More likely, though, is that they're introducing a brand new character who happens to be named Mara.

Still, it'll be fun to speculate and watch this all roll out.
