I'm thinking this will be my last big hurrah seeing them multiple times on a tour too. I'd still travel to see them but just one show, maybe two if they're close together.

I can't believe that they added this show, close to home, on my 40th birthday. My family is going to be pissed at me for not being home, but there is nowhere I'd rather be. Can't wait.

If you were skipping your kid's birthday, that would be pretty shitty, but in this case: . I mean it's your 40th and PJ is playing close by. They should be buying you tickets, a limo, and stripper to take to the show. Male or female. No judgement on your birthday.

How does this make seniority worthless? Seniority has never increased your chances of getting tickets, it only made them better if you were able to buy them in the first place.

With the former system, you wanted tickets, you bought tickets for that show. You weren't hoping to magically get picked at random. If you were in the 10C and had the means, you were taken care of, and with seniority your tickets were better (my number is only okay, not super good 167xxx). Maybe I'm confusing seniority a bit with membership as a whole. The No. 1 reason I've kept my 10c status up to date for about 15 years is the concert ticket availability to fan club members. I really don't care about the holiday singles, the pdf magazine or wallpapers. I just like to see my favorite band. Maybe that makes me a douchebag? If so, okay.

The lotto (is shitty but) makes it so there are likely fewer members with numbers lower than yours attending any show you may win, so it makes seniority more valuable. Also, this is not the thread for this. We have beat it to death in the 2013 NA tour thread.

Yeay! Going to both shows. This will complete a Northeast sweep for me, after this I will have seen Pearl Jam play DC, Philly, NYC, Boston/Worcester and I can throw in Hartford for good measure. I'd like to pair LA & San Diego on a future tour. If they ever do a fall European tour I'd love to catch a show across the ocean. Other than that I can see my traveling to multiple shows coming to an end.

I have an extra GA ticket for this show, and I am hoping to use it to help get me a decent spot for the 10/15 show. Think this is going to be my last big PJ hoorah. I am working a business trip around this, and my two year old will soon know better
Anyone have an extra for 10-15 night 1 that I can work something out for with my night 2 GA ticket? I guess, of course, in a few years, I can bring him on a PJ trip!
