The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
With hindsight I wish the band wasn't so focused on making an Iraq/terror focused album at this time. It hasn't aged as well and there is obviously a lot of good material that didn't make it.
I dunno, could be super relevant within the next 12 months
Hey! I just noticed you are from St. Paul, me too!
Nice! If you're still in the area I'll buy you a beer next time they come through.
That would be great. Thanks. I live in the northern suburbs. You?
St. Paul proper. Couple miles west of downtown.
Nice. Ever eat at the Refuge? Or go to the Happy Gnome? Also, Barrel Theory is amazeballz.
Used to like the Gnome, but haven't been forever. Don't think I know the Refuge. Been wanting to get to Barrel Theory but there's so many other great breweries around here that I just haven't gotten there yet.
The a Refuge is a block away from the Gnome. It’s famous for its Tennessee fried chicken, but it has the best burger in the Twin Cities. Seek it out.
Barrel Theory is absolutely worth checking out. Easily a top five area brewery for me, and I’ve been to more than my fair share.
Umm, Excuse me? The Nook is the best burger place in the state.

The Nook is great, but the Revival burger is better. Also better than Red Cow and Parlour.

I’ve got nothing against The Nook, it’s fantastic. And bowling in the basement rulez.

I'll clog this up with one more reply... Love the Nook, love the basement. Also, I totally know Revival! But haven't had a chance to try it yet. Used to live at Oxford and Portland, which put me just a few blocks away from Strat.

Get to Revival. It’s great. And I still can’t believe I called it Refuge infinity times. I must have been stoned (I was).

The food and beer scene in this town has gone crazy over the last couple of years. The breweries are off the charts. It’s pretty awesome.

would be great if they properly released these songs so then we could hear some of them live

I think there’s a lot of space for vocals on most of these that are instrumental. I am very impressed with 2x4, Rearranged Furtniture, and Rearranged Priorities. The Only Cloud in the Sky is good but probably would not benefit from vocals and works great as instrumental. I think the rough mixes of Severed Hand and The Bigger the Wave are inferior to the final version, and the same with Life Wasted save for the outro which is so much better than the fade out in the album.
10 Billion Years works great as a Stone vocal songs, but maybe with reworked lyrics.
On Lucky 13 now. I like it. Can’t remember another Pearl Jam song where they tried out this kind of percussion but it’s an interesting change I would have loved them to explore.
Breeze in D time. Would have also had a lot of potential. Thought it would stay slow but it is taking so many interesting turns. I wish they did more with this!
It’s nice to hear something new given it has been so long. But this is the sort of realistic stretching out I wish they would do more of nowadays.

Spun this again today, along with Cold Concession and Let It Ride. First time I played the whole thing through since back when it came out. There's some pretty compelling stuff on here. I'd love to see them resurrect the following:
2x4 Only Cloud Left In the Sky Rearranged Furniture Rearranged Priorities Let It Ride
