i dig it. totally different direction than the last 2 albums. ed sounds good, matt sounds great (FINALLY), and i'm digging the production and the atypical sounds they are making in the studio

Finally a fairly interesting guitar riff. Definitely enjoy the different sounds as well. Great vocal layering too.

Song is decent, production and overall vibe are better. Ed sounds great, the recording has more depth to it than anything on LB or BS. I like that the guitars feel looser, and the little cash register sounds are fun.
I just hope they don't blast those drum mics on every song on their next record, like a Black Keys album or something. Hopefully it's a stylistic choice that will be limited to this song.
Not an amazing composition, but overall a big step in the right direction after LB.
