I know there are some pumpkin fans here. What is the consensus all killer no filler Mellon Collie mix? I was shuffling it on Spotify today and there is certainly some crap scattered amongst the gems.
And there are so many cool songs left from those sessions...amazing moment from Corgan.

I think they will sell tickets. People who listened to them when they were teenagers now have jobs and money. A nostalgia tour will bring out the once-concert-a-year people getting babysitters for the night.
If Pearl Jam can sell ballparks out @ $130 a pop, with people even flying in for the shows...

Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

Yeah but PJ has not stopped doing it. People know what they are getting work a PJ show. 3 hours of a somewhat unique setlist. Who the hell knows what you'll get from this tour

They've said they will be playing almost exclusively the old stuff. This tour might bring out people who weren't interested in going to any Pumpkins/Zwan/Corgan shows in the past 15 years.
I'm certainly not buying tickets way in advance, but if I'm not on vacation that week in July I will probably scrounge up a last minute ticket.
Pearl Jam never stopped selling in large venues. The Pumpkins have been playing smaller venues now for years. Pearl Jam also allows for adults to be old and lame with their music. Do 35 year old adults really want to jam out with some bald weirdo who dresses like a vampire?
I just looked at the Glendale seating map on Ticketmaster. Looks like MAYBE 10 percent sold. They are going to end up cancelling or moving some of these shows I bet.
