On a Marlins fire sale side note, Where does Ichiro end up? They declined his option months ago and I havnt seen any rumors of him signing anywhere. For as much as I'd love to see him one more time, I think it would be awesome if he did a year or two in Japan before hanging it up.

I wouldn't be surprised if San Francisco signed him for a year if only as a pinch hitter.
Also, I am in the Billy Wagner was better than Trevor Hoffman camp.
Of course he was. But I'm not really upset with Hoffman being in.
Go Marlins!

I imagine it will be a pretty emotional time for you watching a former Marlin get inducted.
8 year old me was always more of a fan of Bryan Harvey and that mustache. I spent a lot of time in my backyard trying to throw a forkball.

The Marlins are going to have a hard time drawing anyone to those games. Which is the great thing with the Brewers fan base. They've shown, if they are winning the fans show up. So with that, they can make a splurge here or there and as long as the product produces it should balance out hopefully.
I'm also torn on Darvish, the Brewers have had such horrible luck with pitchers. Id almost rather see a slightly above average staff backed by an offense that just hits and hits and hits. Which is hard for me to say as I LOVE a good pitching duel.

Fangraphs has the Brewers with a 76-win projection after the trade/signing
yup, 10 less than last year, and the only player they lost was Jimmy Nelson and his 12 wins. With the Reds and Pirates in the division, I dont see how the Brewers and Cubs dont finish well above .500
