Definitely getting tix to Byrne’s Portland show, but good lord Pit tix are $180 face. I’ll probably have to go the poverty route & get $100 1st balcony...He’s one of the only artists left that I’ll drop that ridiculous coin on, mostly because every opportunity to see him is likely the last.
Bought mine this morning. I can't wait! Tickets were only $55 here but the service fees brought a pair up to nearly $150. This is an outdoor show with $35 and $45 (plus more service fees) upgrade options, neither of which I went for.
Got 4 amazing box seats, front row of balcony. Total only came to $464 Beyond stoked for this show (4+ months from now)

I have a few times, which is why I'm confident this show will be worth $116/ticket. Taking my dad & wife who have never seen him. My wallet fucking hurts.

Portland, which seemed like it had higher ticket prices overall than most of the shows elsewhere

The Houston show is at a pretty small and new venue, which I guess explains the lower price even though I'd think less seats would equal higher prices. I hope his show translates well outdoors.

I scored GA tix to the Candlebox 25 year anniversary / original lineup show in Seattle this summer. I am super pumped about this. Candlebox is still in my regular rotation. Kevin Martin is the only original member still in the band, so whenever they tour I’m like “meh” but this reunion thing is awesome.

Never heard a single note from them. Is Krusen there?

No. Krusen is not an original member nor is he currently in the touring lineup. I don’t know the dates of his stint with Candlebox off the top of my head.

I think he played with them in Chile a few years ago. Then he came with the foos to Argentina and played Beast Of Burden with them.
