It's old hat to rag on the band for churning out trailer-loads of merchandise by now, but it really doesn't reflect terribly well on their level of quality control when something this inexplicably bad comes out under their name.

It's great if you play the bass, I guess.

If the guitar transcriptions are inaccurate, who’s to say the bass would be any better?

Well, I'm sure glad that I canceled my $90 order from the ten club when it's now available again on Amazon for $46. I smell some shady business here. At the time I ordered it, back in May, they said it was on back order and that they would notify us as soon as the shipping dates became available and that we wouldn't be charged until the item shipped. Then three weeks later they charged my credit card for the full amount ($88 or 89, something like that). When I contacted them to ask why I was charged I got some bullshit answer like "well, we didn't want you to be surprised when all of the sudden it's available to ship and we charge your credit card and you're not expecting it so we figured we'd just charge you now." What?! Then when it comes to the issue of cancelling my order, they gave me some bullshit line like "well, we're not sure that you will have a chance to order this again if you cancel your order now because we have no way to ensure future availability beyond those who have already paid for their order." What the hell is going on over there? That's shady business. After waiting for 5 months, I finally cancelled my order and got my money back. Then they all of a sudden started shipping them! Ha, oh well, I'll buy it from Amazon for half the price (assuming it's still even that worth that much). So freakin' weird?!

At least 100% of bass is listed. No "as felt" for the bass.

Is it worth the $45 amazon is charging?
Seems like a nice book to have regardless of quality. I still love the nostalgia of tab books

That's what I paid, and I'm not carrying any regret.

Holy shit, am I going blind or is this type font microscopic? It should've come with a pair of binoculars.

Hey all,

If the anthology book isn’t doing it for you, i play in a pearl Jam tribute band (http://www.facebook.com/pearl jam band) and I’ve just set up a YouTube channel that i’ll Be posting lessons (with tab) to every single pj guitar part for every pj song! (Including all solos!)

Check it out and subscribe if of interest!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSRHRT ... kFXRF5KQFQ

First few the audio wasn’t awesome and I’m new at video editing so quality will get better. The next ones i’ll be recording the audio separately!

Cheers!

A couple of general youtube suggestions.

Write an introduction for the beginning of your videos.
Write a closing encouraging people to like and subscribe (can help up your videos in the algorithm).
Include a link to your band's website or schedule in every description.

Also, I'm trying to give you some love on our blog, but your facebook username can't have spaces in it.

Hey there! Thanks for the feedback - i'll add my band to the description - good advice :-)

Sorry my phone autocorrected! Band's facebook is http://www.facebook.com/pearljammband - hopefully that works!

When you say write an intro and closing do you mean as part of the video? I'm going to film an introduction vid for the channel itself (as a separate vid to explain what and why i'm aiming to do) so hopefully that would cover that off.

One thing i'll also do is link to specific sections in the description, that way if people just want to know a certain section they can get right to it :-)

Any other feedback gratefully received! Like i say the quality will improve, i just needed to get it rolling or i never would have done it :-)

I do. I think you'll still want to do a quick intro and outro on each video. You can film them one time and edit them onto the front and end of the video. Just like, "Hi, I'm Brad from the band Pearl Jamm with two Ms. Today in our series of Pearl Jam education videos, I'm going to teach you how to play, Alive."
