Going to need to see it again when it comes out on blu ray, but may be the best comic book film I've seen since Dark Knight. This is coming from someone who thought the other two stand alone Wolverine movies sucked.

This movie is great. I've enjoyed every single X-Men related movie that's been put out. I stopped buying physical copies of most things, but this saga, along with PJ, RHCP, TWD and Star Wars movies are the exceptions to the rule. Can't wait for the blu ray!

I just saw it yesterday.

Even though I was tearing up, thought the ending was great, I did feel it a bit corny for his euology to be lines from a movie the kid just saw
And perfect recall too. Amazing.
So in Origins Weapon X had to fight Weapon XI (gag) and in this movie there was X23 and then X24. Of course. Alkali...so like Alkali Lake from X2? Interesting call-back.
I thought the kid who played Rictor was pretty good.

the Black and White is pretty cool, if anyone ever wants to watch it whos a big squirmish with blood, go for the black and white, it kinda takes the gore out of it? but almost added to the violence?
I really wish, after having watched the Blueray in color and black and white, that The Wolverine (the 2nd movie) did not have the stupid nanobits attacking Wolverines healing factor. It works so well in Logan, him dealing with aging, but now watching The Wolverine again, it took a little away from that movie.

You make a a very good point. I can't remember a trilogy of movies where the first one was terrible, the second was ok and the third one was outstanding.

I think it was built up to be this epic, reflective, genre busting film a little much. It was enjoyable, but not amazing. It was still a comic book movie. A good one, but not an all-timer.
