check to make sure the grounding wire is in place too. it's odd that it starts around the same spot every time on each record. makes me wonder if it's picking up some electronic feedback underneath the platter when the needle gets to that point?

Absolutely. you will hear a significant difference in quality.
Woah, it's very $$$y. I'm sure it's worth it for the quality but not ready to spend that much right now. Apparently the 'red' version is half the price - anyone have experience with the red version?

yes, that was my first upgrade. Go with the Red. i felt an immediate difference on that table with the Red. I just gave you the idea for the Blue because i wish I had just gone straight there for the extra $100.

Filled in some gaps, found some good deals and upgraded a few older copies lately.
Trompe Le monde - pixies MSFL. Now got The lot, Doolittle is the pick of em. Lemonheads - Shame about Ray Stooges- fun house Smashing pumpkins - melon collie Ryan Adams - love is hell MFSL Beck mutations Tim rogers - what rhymes with cars and girls War on drugs - deeper understanding. If PAIN is not the best song of last year, I didn't hear the one that was. Stones - beggars banquet, let it bleed, ya-yas. The DSD pressings. These sound really fucking great. Preordered sun kil moon - ghosts and Damien rice - O. Amped to finally have both of them..
Source tags and codes has been re released aswell, anyone got their mitts on it? How does it sound?

Ha, I abstained for like the last 3 months of the year so I could get to the post Christmas sales. Also purged the collection of shit I didn't want anymore, but yeppers, it's a solid haul.
