somebody else has got to hear this, please
so, go to 2009,
then august 24,
then corduroy is 2nd song
shut off background song by clicking top left.
you can only ff by song, not within a song, so ya have to wait for the solo.
it was the only mccreedy solo that has ever caught my attention. i need to know if i'm hearing things or does it really sound that good?
solo's in by at least 3:59. wow. listening now. just wow.
I really enjoyed that, but it doesn't strike me as terribly different/better than what I'm used to hearing. I tend to stay away from the more recent bootlegs, but that was good.
I gotta agree with 1974. I think you haven't appreciated Mike enough!
I was at that show. The IMT that followed Corduroy was one of those times when a song totally bowled me over for the first time. It's one of my very favorites since that very night. But I digress.

Hard to pick, but personal favourites are Cropduster into Ghost, November Hotel, Reach Down, Get rIGHT, in the Moonlight, Red Mosquito, Garden (esp live Milan 2000),
Less solo oriented but still awesome: Aye Divinita, Deep, Touring Band instrumentals,

Get Right is a GREAT solo and massively underrated. Same for the outro to Habit.
I've always liked the solo from the LO2L version of Corduroy. The Black solo on that is also top drawer.
To me a great solo isn't about cramming as many notes in as possible or playing super fast. It's all about feeling the song and "suggesting" the melody here and there. A great solo isn't a bunch of random notes in the right key—it has to fit the song.

95 Vitalogy tour - solo during Immortality is haunting if my brain remembers it correctly. Mike was newly sober and just a madman on that tour in general.
Mad Season - November Hotel is always a favorite too.
