Radiohead are obviously a phenomenal band. But anymore, I listen to Lana Del Rey far more often. I'm with Jorge and KD on this. The similarity is pretty obvious but Radiohead needs to get their heads out of each other's asses here.
Ultraviolence. That record is a smoky, sexy, messy, blissful, beast.
Though, it depends on what you're looking for, really. Born to Die is pure pop. And Honeymoon is a really subtle almost vocal jazz record. Honeymoon is a straight up headphones record. There are so many little flourishes and motives throughout. It's beautiful but not as immediate as her other work.
I think that's why I'd recommend Ultraviolence. It has some poppy hooks but it also gets strange and dark in places. It's a great mood record. Eagle Rare whiskey is a great pairing with the album.
