The Deep issue is really great, with interviews of roadies, some words from each band member on their instrument technician, and 6 crazy pages on the evolution of shows recording by Brett Elliason and his assistant.

It is top notch. The bootleg recording bit was very interesting.
Great issue of deep In the midst of reading it now.
Lots of itnerviews with the crew members.
Ed has a note in their about his guitar techs and his evolution of gear on stage. He talks about the Ramone guy who you all like to hate ed for the way he treated him. He doesnt talk about the specific incident but talks about how dearly he loves and appreciates him.
He segues into his need for his current irishman tech.

You know, I really don't think I would. I'd be happy at the prospect of them playing together, of course, but excited to listen to bunch of 50 year old dudes riff around on a generic blues-rock jam while warming up for their performance at a celebrity awards banquet? Nah.
