I caught the one where Frank wanted to marry the hooker and Charlie swallowed all those blood capsules. Funny stuff

I binged all five seasons that were available at the time in like a week and, like you say, the highs were great. The lows though...there's not a bigger group of total assholes on TV. Well, at the time there wasn't. Could be wrong now. Sometimes the asshole-factor was enough to put me in a bad mood. Probably shouldn't have binged them, maybe?
Made me not watch the next season which I hear is great. Probably should get back into them, since I can get them from the library now instead of downloading them illegally.

“Dark” on Netflix. First episode was solid, but stick with the German as the dub is unbearable.

Watched the X-Files premiere last night. And then stuck around for the first episode of 9-1-1. Man, I love that cast. But holy shit did I really not enjoy that show.

Manhunt.
This kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I mean it was allright, but the writers had made up so much stuff, that in the end the series has very little to do with what actually happened. It just bothers me that it's "based on a true story" but in reality most of the stuff in the series actually never happened.

Started the new season of The Crown and I don't know. It's kind of boring so far compared to last season. Heck, the Queen is barely in the episodes so far.

Yeah I like this show so far
I'll stick it out for the season, but I didn't like the second and third episodes as much. They felt like they were recreating the amazing "Les Revenants" in the storytelling style and direction.
Not sure why, but it kind of reminds me of anime as well, like Lain.
