The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Listened to half of it. Not incredibly different from the bootleg mono SBD version so far.
This isn’t even close to true. This sounds outstanding.
I disagree. How are you listening to it? Which prior versions have you listened to in the past?
The versions I lived with in the past are this one and this one. The mix version was always a little out of sync, but it made the venue feel massive - which it was.

Listening to the hi-res version right now...I can see what others have been saying about the sound quality. It sounds like a straight desk mix to me, maybe mixed to cassette because I think I can hear quite a bit of noise reduction between songs. Maybe it's the nature of the multi-track recording, but it's very odd-sounding. It might also explain why they don't have the whole show, because maybe the mixing desk guy forgot to switch tapes? Or maybe the other cassette/DAT is missing? I suppose it's also possible that the broadcast bootleg is a mono reduction of this, which would also explain the similarities people are hearing. The whole thing is just weird.
