Is there really not a chili thread yet?

Let's get this thread back on track and moving in the right direction, everyone.

I had a recipe for chili written on loose leaf in my copy of Joy of Cooking, but I think it fell out during a clutter purge or a move or something. I have no idea anymore what I used in that recipe to set it apart from other chili I've made. I guess I'll never know.

He was the worst and he is not even tangentially related to chili or chili discussion. Please stop bringing him up in this thread.

I love chili
I love beans of all types
I love cornbread

I do not love beans in my chili
Not a fan of cornbread with chili. I prefer it with pinto or white beans.

One time we nearly won a cook-off with a chili that included Shiner Bock and cocoa powder.
