I find it odd that they would have multi-tracks for the entire main set but not the encore. Maybe there were technical issues?
i bet they do have the tracks for the whole set, but leave off the covers so as to avoid some kind of royalty expense. it always seems to be the covers that are left off.

You think so? I feel like a majority of all the boots they have released feature all of the covers.

perhaps these sell better than the boots and that's why. i'm not gonna try and understand the logic of the 10c. but i am suspicious of the fact that these vaults always seem to be missing the covers, because of a convenient "tape error".

Why would this show’s covers present any more expense than the hundreds on their other bootleg releases?
I think it’s more likely that they tend to play covers later in a show when they were also likely to have run out of tape. From how it seems, there’s very few complete pre-2000 show recordings as it wasn’t a priority back then.

I think it's more likely that including these tracks would have expanded it to a four-LP collection, and thus driven up their cost. If they were to pass that added cost along to the consumer, we'd bitch that the last one was only two LPs, and the cost didn't drop. So the they just decided fuck it - most of the people buying this will never break the shrinkwrap on it anyway.
