It's a bit early yet. I've marked down 40 movies released in 2017, and I have only seen 11 of them. I usually end up watching at least 100 movies from a year, so the number for this year is really low so far. Gone a lot less to the cinema than I normally do.

5 stars
Blade Runner 2049
Wind River

4 stars
Hjertestart (Handle With Care)
War for the Planet of the Apes

3 stars
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Alien: Covenant

2 stars
Tour de Pharmacy
The Dark Tower
The Scent of Rain & Lightning

1 star
Det norske hus (House of Norway)
Kong: Skull Island

Fences and Rogue One were both released in December 2016, and while Fences had been near the top with four stars, Rogue One would be number one on the list if eligible. Have seen several 2017 series, and Game Of Thrones would also be at the top if it was eligible.

Watchlist (own a few of these as well):
Logan
Thelma
Hostiles
John Wick: Chapter 2
Baby Driver
Wonder Woman
Get Out
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Call Me by Your Name
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Lady Bird
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Wonder
Dunkirk
Thor: Ragnarok
Justice League
The Shape of Water
The Disaster Artist
Spider-Man: Homecoming
The Beguiled
Woman Walks Ahead
DRIB
Inntrengere
Oskars Amerika
The Rules For Everything
Fra Balkongen
12th Man
IT
Phantom Thread

It worked on me like magic. I adore that movie. I go back and forth between that one and Blade Runner as my favorite movie this year.
