I love the bit about Ep 9 wrapping everything up and folding the OT and PT into the NT as well. Really promising things coming from camp Abrams on this. SUPER excited.

What if it's the prophesy? God I hope not but it could as easily apply to Rey as anyone.

She's almost definitely gonna be the last one standing. Luke Snoke Kylo are all gonna die.

So how do you end it? With her setting up a new academy? Will she have given up the Jedi way and is on this new path? Balance? Will she get immaculately knocked up and have a force baby?

I wonder

This might be easier to discuss/predict once we've seen The Last Jedi. So much of what I'll want to see will be determined by where we end that movie.

ive a horrible feeling its gonna be a cliffhanger with Rey either captive by Snoke or having gone dark..

I saw this thing pointed out online... it's not technically a spoiler but I'll tag it anyway because reading it could lead to putting some things together and I know some folks don't want to do that...

Spoiler: show
Someone pointed out that on some of the images we've seen on either toy packaging or in the behind the scenes clip shows that Rey has a prominent bruise/injury above her eye. We don't see that at all in the new trailer. Even when she's being "attacked" or whatever by Snoke in his "thrown room" or whatever that is toward the end. Just interesting. That means everything we see in the trailer happens BEFORE that injury.
Which I think is super interesting.

So, what do we think? We're gonna jump ahead ... Leia's gone. Poe's leading the Resistance. A big battle between the Knights of Ren and Rey's fledgling Jedi.

First scene will be Leia's funeral. Closed casket. They'll speak of how she died of old age.

yeah, it'll be a celebration, and they'll follow up by formally giving control of the resistance to Poe (unless there is another Holdo type figure)
