Guys, I just read the Dark Phoenix story. It kinda sucked.
Read within the context of the larger story going on in the monthly book at the time, it didn't. Just reading those few issues where that particular story took place, I can see how it would be less satisfying.

I really don't know what to make of this, trailer. I mean, it fits Dani's powers, it could just be all her doing really? But...... Where do you go from there? is it a one off? just seems an odd direction if its to eventually tie in to the bigger X-picture.
The Gifted, hasn't been bad 2 episodes in. Hope they stay focused on the mutants, with the families story serving as the overall story arc but not the focal point of the episodes. Thunderbird and Blink have been great in limited rolls and seems like theyre setting Polaris up for something big down the line.

They’re supposed to be doing the Demon Bear storyline. I’m in.
I wish they showed their powers in the trailer. I’m really excited to see how they do Cannonball and Sunspot. A bit disappointed that Sam isn’t blonde and Bobby isn’t black, tho.

Looks more horror movie than superhero. You guys go see it first and let me know how scary it is K? I hate scary movies. Madtigerman, I agree about the Gifted. It's been good so far, better than Inhumans.

I didn't know this. Is Dani indigenous? Rahne Scottish? Bobby should be south american, not necessarily black.
Dani is Cheyenne, and correct with the other two. Is odd choice with Sam though, I didn't even know who that was supposed to be without looking up who was in the movie.

They got Bobby’s nationality right, just not color of his skin. And I realize that line is blurred in Brazil, but he was black Brazilian in the comics so surely they could’ve gone that extra step in his casting. Dani is, indeed, Native American. They did pretty good with her. No complaints with Illyana or Rahne either.

The last 10 mins of the 3rd episode of The Gifted was some great X-Men team work. AND Polaris had a semi Magneto escape from a plastic prison (nice lil nod to her movie dad, albeit on the low budget side). Polaris, Blink, and Thunderbird have been really strong in all 3 episodes.

Awful. Maybe they should try and focus on doing a small scale x-men movie? All of the x-men movies based on huge, epic story-lines from the comics have been pretty damn bad.
