i dont get the criticism of people saying thanos looks weird. hes a guy from one of the moons of saturn, what the hell is he supposed to look like? plus he looks about 5000% better interacting with the characters in the movie than steppenwolf did

I'm sure the interactions will be great. It's not the CGI (I think) as much as I'm not yet sold on the look of him. A bit working class to be the harbinger of the end of the world. Marvel hasn't really blown a major creature design yet, so I'm sure it works in the movie.

The thing about Brolin is that in an interview he said he wants to humanize him. WTF? He's a titan from a moon on Saturn, what's screams "human" about that?
I just wish he looked, like stip says, a harbinger. He's lost his look from the stingers and is much more subdued.
Maybe that's his "I'm talking shit" look and the one in the trailer is the "I'm don't want to get blood on my talking shit suit" look.

I'm not a fan of fully CGI villains. CGI characters aren't threatening. It's hard to be afraid of a drawing. The Skeksis are scary. Thanos should be a puppet. The Uruk-hai were scary. I laughed at Bolg.

I agree that full cgi characters are not my thang. They look weird and they get old within a year. Im surprised with Snoke so far because it seems it looks awesome.

This is motion capture though right? Not full CGI?

I mean, the only real difference here is he's not wearing an armor anymore.
I think the helmet and armor helps the look a lot. The more covered up he is the better. My wife thinks he looks awesome in the trailer and its making me question everything about our lives together.
