Yeah, the right thing to do is concentrate in the new music. If they are relaying only in the hits, well im not interested then. But if the new music is good, and the setlists are changing, they play deep cuts...then im in.
Agreed. I'm actually liking Meadow the more I listen to it.
The weird thing is that I really like it too, but it feels wrong for some reason.

It does. And, it is all because I'm ultimately disappointed that it is not Scott singing with them. But, hopefully, he can make his own mark with the band. It will be difficult though - he sounds way too much like him.

I just had the chance to listen to the Troubadour show in full and I have to say that I was mostly really happy with what I heard. Down, Still Remains, and Piece of Pie were my favorite performances. Jeff sounds enough like Scott to make the vocals familiar and yet he’s different enough to not be a carbon copy. And like VinylGuy said, if they change up set lists and play deep cuts that Scott often didn’t want to sing, I’ll be happy.
The setlist they did is pretty cool...they played Coma, Piece Of Pie, Still Remains...a really cool setlist. Yeah, im intrigued. I hope the new music is good and ill be very interested.

I was listening to Talk Show on my bike ride the other day and the first half of the album reminds me of Tiny Music. I wonder if the songs were leftovers from the album?
I also realized that the lyrics are atrocious for the most part. Just horrible.

I swear I remember reading that the Deleo's not wanting to vary the sets was one of the reasons Scott went his own way. I still remember sitting front row at the Pantages for his Happy in Galoshes solo show when they started playing Atlanta. I couldn't believe it.

Speaking of set lists, STP is inviting fans to submit set lists for their upcoming tour. They will be choosing lists for each upcoming show and giving away free tickets to the people with the chosen lists.
