I've had the OXO Good Grips can opener forever. That thing has been through two marriages with me. Similar to this, although mine looks a little different because of its' age.

Those look suspiciously like the ones I throw out after trying once, Ruddo. But I trust you and will give them a try. These are the type I've had the best luck with.

I don't know, maybe a couple of cans a week on average? Are you guys telling me your can openers just open cans for years on end without wearing out? Maybe it's me? I have a fuck of a time with plastic wrap too.

I will vouch for this can opener as well. I lost it once moving and was dismayed and bought another. rock solid. has never dulled.
