How great is the pipe/wrench fight between Statham and Diesel towards the end of Furious 7?
lol sorry Ruddo, I didn't see this
It is pretty great. I've grown to love Furious 7
I caught the last 30 minutes last night. I love it. Especially when the Rock rolls that ambulance and then gives his "I AM the cavalry" line.
When I first saw it, I thought it was a bit disappointing coming after 5 and 6. Now I think it's better than both of those, especially the (very slightly) extended cut. It's beautifully directed.

The first one was bad. They missed every opportunity to make it work. The romance was just uncomfortable and weird, and it totally threw off the blue-collar, warmhearted thing Happy Madison is always going for. The villains were embarrassingly lame (Skateboards! Tattoos! BMX bikes! Parkour!). It's not funny. It just doesn't work at all.
The second wasn't great, but it was a huge improvement. It got a lot wackier, looser, more free-wheeling, more bizarre. A lot of random scenes/gags that weren't tied to the central plot, which I love and wish more movies would embrace. I actually laughed a decent amount, especially toward the end. There's a slapstick fight scene that's genuinely well-crafted.
Kevin James is kind of amazing at pratfalls. He really knows how to use his body for stunts/gags. It's impressive, though I usually don't find him funny.
