Finally reading through the Rolling Stone special collectors edition. Fun to re-read these articles that i kind of grew up reading.

Anywho- The guide to the album section is really cool. They are new articles looking back at their albums. I believe there are some new quotes on Ten and a little tidbit about how awful the recording sessions were in regards to Krusen and Parashar and the production. And also a little bit about how they originally wanted to cut out "i know someday you'll have a beautiful life" from Black but Ed had to fight to keep that in.

Crazy.

That's about the most interesting part :\

As like Pj20 and every story you ever read about pearl jam...

The articles get shorter and shorter as each album progresses.

Ten is a couple pages, vs and vitalogy are about 1.5 pages, no code is a page, Yield is 1/2 a page, binaural is a 1/2 a page and then the next albums are split amongst two pages.

Lol.

God I can't wait till someone, anyone, puts out a definitive look at pearl jam. one that includes their greatest and most creative phases from 96-2003

Interesting. I guess Ed originally wrote Speed of Sound for a Ron Wood Solo album.

Very typical. A book like that would be highly appreciated.

Apparently it's Ed's birthday? It came up on my Google Cards on the phone.
