On a podcast they mentioned this and said it was probably to keep it from being spoiled in Thor. I mean, if the San Diego people would have reported Thor only having one eye, it would have kind of given away part of this movie, yeah?

Also, remember the leaked Avengers 3 footage from SDCC that had the Guardians finding Thor? I just looked again and
There were a couple spots where you could still see his eye and I kept thinking, "They spent millions on this movie and someone missed the fact you can see his eye through the makeup?"

I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't remember a time when I laughed this much at a comic book movie or action movie in general. Mark Ruffalo's scenes were ace.

saw this a second time with the wife.
I think I liked it equally the first and second time. The first time everything was unexpected. The second time I could appreciate it without prior expectations. Very solid movie but didn't crack my top 3 (or possibly even top 5) like I had hoped. My wife loved it but wished it was a bit more serious with Hela (tonally she likes where the Captain America movies are best, or anything with Robert Downey Junior)
With minimal prior knowledge of the movies she thought Justice League looked too dreary and is super excited for Black Panther.

You know, funny you should say that about Black Panther. I was minimally interested based on the trailers, but that one was one that actually really benefited from the big screen. More immersive than maybe i was able to get off a laptop screen.
