At the risk of offending any other Aussie's on the board, I really dislike those 'Southern Cross' tatts. In my experience they reduce the owner's mental capacity, cognitive abilities and reasoning by a factor approaching 1/2.
And I'm absolutely all for showing your patriotism - your Aussie Aussie Aussie! will always get a resounding Oi! Oi! Oi! from this sandgroper, mate. But really, those particular tatts are like the lowest common denominator or something...
I'm always reminded of the 'White Australia Policy' whenever I see one...

I don't mind Southern Cross tatts so much, it's more that symbol being appropriated by racist tools that I find really offensive. They are definitely a neon sign that alerts you to an approaching moron.
Remember those tools who would run around at the Big Day Out with an Australian flag aggressively telling people to kiss it. They were WORST.

I feel sorry for those poor Australian Olympians in the 90's that got a Southern Cross tatt before it was co-opted by the racists.
