I seem to remember a page where Harmless said something critical of Lightning Bolt and then spent 3 or 4 posts arguing to himself about it. No one else was posting. Not long after he crashed and burned (the first time). It was truly a look into the mind of madness. Poor bastard.

Happy birthday Lightning Bolt
Unlike Backspacer, which remains in heavy rotation, I don't really listen to L-bolt much anymore. Having said that, I still enjoy almost every song on the record from beginning to end.

This album remains unmoved from my "least favorite Pearl Jam album" spot -- I like maybe 1/3 of it, another 1/3 I can passively enjoy if the mood strikes, the remaining 1/3 I still believe reigns surpreme as the absolute worst handful of songs this band has ever put out. I will say that "Sirens" has grown on me.
