I'm down to Bill Maher, Samantha Bee, Seth Meyers, and Trevor Noah at this point.

Oh, and Vox's YouTube Channel.

Oh, and Vox's YouTube Channel.

You probably shouldn't get your news entirely from comedians, B

Vox isn't very funny.

Fox News on Thursday retracted a story it ran on John Garofalo after learning that Garofalo never served in the Navy SEALs or was in Vietnam.
Fox? Fake news? Hold me...

The genius of the modern TV news outlets is that the information presented has to fit into that 7 or 8 minute window between commercials.

Only conventional ideology can be repeated, presented, in that window.

Its like Chomsky said, either repeat conventional ideology or say something true-and sound like you're from Neptune.

then you got the select few saying, blah yada fuckin whatever....as if 1 person is siting around deciding which stories to broadcast?

Well yeah, that individual was called an editor-producer today.

I just realized that I get most of my news from Twitter. It's just such an easy way to curate multiple views on trending topics. For conservatives I like David French and Ross Douthat, for libertarians I like Tyler Cowen and Russ Roberts, and for liberals I like Noah Smith.

How else are we supposed to defend ourselves against locust hordes or chaos demons?
