The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Boston would have been a lot better off trading for Butler or George. Irving is pretty overrated and basically the same player as IT.
You've previously said Butler wouldn't be an upgrade for the C's. Additionally, Indiana was never going to trade George in the Eastern Conference - C's offered a better package, but Pacers turned it down.
Verb, you are fake news, bro.
Boston told you they offered a better package. Doesn't mean it actually happened.
Kyrie isn't really an upgrade either. Butler would have given them something different at least.
You've been down on trading for Butler all year and multiple reports indicated that Indiana was not trading George in the conference.
The new Cavs GM is going to void the trade because of the midget's hip, which was his plan all along to get more picks from the Celtics... because there is no way they don't follow through with bringing in Irving at this point. Genius.
Curious as to why you didn't reveal this after the trade was made....
I didn't want it to get back to Opie Ainge. Now he's stuck and will have to give up more.
If the Cavs reportedly want Tatum or Brown that won't happen. Ainge is in a similar position as it relates to Cle. I really hope he calls the bluff and doesn't give up squat and let's the trade get voided. IT still has incentive to play for free agency and max deal.
The deal has to be done at this point. Question of who blinks first.
Another staggering trade. The Thunder have turned trash into Paul George and Melo. Unreal.
Lowe reports that just like the Pacers the Knicks apparently didn't want to trade with the Cavs. It's sorta unbelievable that at the start of this offseason the Cavs were one major piece from being able to better challenge the Warriors, and despite an insane amount of star movement, the Cavs are almost certainly worse now than they were when they got spanked back in June.
Not that Melo is a superstar at this point, but is Sam Presti a sorcerer?

The most amazing part to me is the Thunder went from a franchise that was allergic to the luxury tax to a team that is putting all of their chips in on this season. If all these guys leave in free agency, could be some long winters in OKC.

They almost certainly can't keep all 3 of them beyond this next year, and it wouldn't be surprising if they didn't keep any of them, but credit to them for not standing idly by. Their offseason feels very Miami Heatish to me, back in the day when Miami made trades for Shaq, Zo, Hardaway, Eddie Jones, etc., giving up lots of supporting role players, but turning them into stars.
