although not necessary, I would suggest that bare-boned be encouraged.

or in the least, the bare-bones should be the heart of the judging matter, leaving the presenter to not be encumbered by the details of a technically-specific=laden perfromance, but rather to be more entwined within the heartstrings of the song itself

I'm less and less interested as time goes by. I think I'd rather just put my songs up on Release than sit around waiting for a tournament that may or may not happen, and isn't guaranteed to ever reach its conclusion.

At least if there is a contest there is a minute chance someone might listen to a song you write. If you just post it in Release the odds go to nill.
