Really cool music. I'm not super big fan of that type of vocal style but I will say your singer is really really good at it. Very professional sounding.
In listening to the song in the first video clip, it's apparent the singer has pipes. I just wish he would've held back a bit to start and let loose when the song was ready. It would make for a nice payoff, in my opinion. But what do I know; I play alone in the basement. :/
So this band is still going. We’ve played a bunch of shows in the area and earlier this year we recorded a proper album. We will be releasing it in a few weeks time. A different drummer and bassist this time around. Here’s a song we put out.
If you listen on headphones, I’m playing guitar mostly in the left channel. I’m in the background vocals too.
It gets better every time I listen. I'm getting an old Mastodon vibe from the dueling solos near the middle. Love it. Both your playing and tone selection is on point, and great job on BVs!
Mastodon is a big influence for all of us. In fact it's probably the nucleus point for the group, because otherwise on an individual basis we all listen to very disparate genres of metal.

I guess my tastes have changed cause I think the singer sounds great now.
Awesome . That song is probably the most visceral of his vocal performances on the album. We close shows with it because he doesn't have much left after doing it.
We've got a bunch of new material written and have been playing some of it live recently. This is from a show we did this past weekend. Watch me thrash around like an idiot and wonder how my body felt the next day (hint: not good).
We have a new album out today. It's a 3 song EP, which is kinda deceptive cause its almost 24 minutes long. It's also available on all the usual streaming sites. Would appreciate hearing what people think.

Have given it a listen and it will get more.
Murderous is a touch too scream-y for me. I know that's the genre, so I can't really hold that against it.
Prince of Gold is more my cup of tea. Nice and sludgy, love the last two minutes with the guitar solos and more.
Before the Dawn is such a sludgy slab of music. I like the journey it takes you on. Nine minutes of sludge but with movement in the song. Love that your drummer knows more than just blast beats. I prefer your singer when he sings versus screams/growls.
