Pallets dyed blue or red. You’ll be tempted to take them because the wood is thicker but they’re covered in a preservative called methyl bromide which is highly carcinogenic. Not sawdust you want to be around nor wood you want in your house or garden. Avoid them
HT means heat treated which pretty much does the same thing but kills any bad stuff in the wood. Usually these ones are used for food stuffs. They’re ok to use.

Thanks. I took some green ones. I don't know what that means, but I just need to ship some stuff out of my house.

Looks awesome, dime. But, is that a fire pit in the middle of all that wood?
Tis yeah. It’s brick though all the way down so they only really ever get warm to the touch. Not a fire hazard at all. Well the bush on the back wall has been a little scorched but no harm. Plus I have a hose right there if anything happened.
Sanded this back and gave it a fresh coat. It came out good. It might need one more but I’m afraid it’ll go too dark. Thinker

So this is almost finished just need to glue the two halves together (this is just a dry fit) Plan is to pour a clear glass epoxy resin for the top. Does anyone have any experience with that stuff? Any advice or tips would be welcome. This is all endgrain so that’s killer for absorbing stuff so I have to seal it all before I do the epoxy. Also gonna gently scorch the top with a blow torch before I do any of that. It makes the grain and rings pop. But epoxy advice welcome if anyone has any

Ah thanks man. I’ve just glued them together and have it standing against the wall and one end is a good 2cm off, as in the legs aren’t touching the wall as the bottom two are. Just my luck. Easy fix though once it dries.
