Died on this day in 1987.

I really had very little appreciation for him or his art until years after his death, but feel he was overly-caricatured to the point of ridiculous by the world at large.



check out some of his work if you can take a minute, he was more than soup cans and Marilyn Monroe reproductions... a lot more.
