Dayamn. Did you have to mop up afterwards?
I was going to try to squish it between my hands, or with two small objects in my hands, which yes, would have made quite the juicy mess, but Raz summoned a can of "spider spray" which just took a few squirts and it was squirming and throwing its legs all around in a fit of panic for about 2 minutes until it finally ceded its soul to Death, still attached to a lone string of web, dangling there. I then opened an empty 1/2 gallon milk carton and put him in there, pulled til the sticky, stretchy web detached, closed the lid, and finally bid farewell to my new, poor, unlucky friend. Meanwhile, very pregnant and hormonal, arachnophobic Raz was convulsing in horror and disgust, simultaneously afraid to watch and to not watch, in case it escaped and I neglected to tell her somehow. I found the entire affair way too amusing for a loving husband to a woman in her state.

Really disappointed in you tree. You should’ve given it a quick and merciless death rather than this agonizing suffering. Take control of your household, man.

Yeah I know I tell her that every time. I like spiders. She just won't take no for an answer. She wants it to die the most gruesome, painful death possible.
