you've probably done this before, but could you explain how you create these pictures, please?
Not sure what you mean but these are digital using photoshop and a cintiq using mostly painterly techniques. I made a couple of gifs. Might do a video soon.
some of these are more successful than others.
I've also started figure drawing again. I'll post that later.

yeah, that's what I was asking about - also, looked up cintiq - looks like a very diverse graphics tool - do you prefer it (or digital creation in general) to using traditional drawing and painting 'stuff'?
all your work is obviously very good regardless - I'm just unfamiliar with how flexible/functional digital artwork is... but assume you're just as able to create without the use of software etc.
looking forward to the drawings.

For work stuff I'm almost completely digital, except for the rare drawing here and there (drawing on a Cintiq or tablet still feels a little off to me). Its just faster and more easily changeable. I can experiment in ways I could never do traditionally, unless I was rich or had an assistant. I consider it just another medium, with its strengths and weaknesses. The fundamentals are the same. I think people who have never seen it before are surprised by just how painterly you can be on one. There are several programs out there, and photoshop probably isnt the best for painting, but its good enough.
I'd like to get back into oil painting this year but my apartment is a little cramped. I might be moving soon. I've tried most everything at one time or another. I'll have to relearn how to mix paint, heh.
