Hello everyone,
I am from from a PJ tribute act from Toronto who is looking for a vocalist. I have our ad posted on Craiglist and Kijiji and have had no luck finding the right vocalist for our band. If anyone here is interested, please contact me to set up an audition. I have posted the ad below:
We are a Pearl Jam tribute band looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate vocalist who can sound like Eddie or least come very close. Our setlist ranges from Ten to Lightning Bolt and everything in between. You must have previous live experience, good range, stage presence, great work ethic and have a vehicle.
We are laid back guys in our mid to late 30's who are highly motivated, hard working and looking to expand our ever growing set list (We are in 60 song range at the moment). We also have many years of live and recording experience. If you're serious and committed, please contact me to set up an audition. Rehearsals are in North York and the days vary.
Please ensure to attach your most recent recorded material, youtube vids and/or any format in which we can hear you properly.
Thanks for your time

I'm confused what you mean by ten to lighning bolt. you play 10 plus songs a night? no problem. I can jam all night. and if i start to slow down I'll just start back up again rock n roll.
Nothing to be confused about Dev, the post actually reads FROM TEN TO LIGHTNING BOLT. Let's see you action, send me a vid.
Don't worry about Dev, he's not serious.
Welcome to the board, and all the best with your search. There are some talented musos here, however I'm not aware of any that can actually sing like Ed.

Thanks for the kind words Sarge, every forum needs its own court jester! I just want to be respectful on this forum as we are all fans here. It just bothers me when people have to make a mockery of things. This tribute act is a fun, passionate and very serious project so we can share PJ's great and vast catalog with their fans and admirers. Our goal is to become the closest thing to the band as a tribute to this great band. A lot of hours and sacrifice has gone into this and we just need that last piece to go forward. The whole point of this rant we want to share this wonderful and inspirational music with everyone. Just bugs me when everyone is trying to be funny at other people's expense. Thank you everyone for listening and I look forward to being a part of this forum!
