It's a simple instrument but I find the "key" placement super counter-intuitive. I'm still getting used to it

My first original melody / improv piece. Still pretty rough, but it's something.

I call it... "Winds of Kaius"

I like it, but I think it should be more dissonant and foreboding if you're going to name it after Kaius.

It was a gift from an illustrator friend. It's just a silly drawing with a bunch of private jokes in it

Have you tried placing it on a bongo/hand drum or tambourine, to add amplification and resonance?
