We used to have a donut truck where I lived as a kid. It was just a truck, but everything tasted superfresh, melted on your tongue. Tasted a few terrible donuts since. We have lots of cakes/pastry here, but not that much donuts.

I had two donuts today. First two in over a week. Glazed and strawberry. Guys, these donuts were fluffy and warm. Very delicious.

I am seriously considering hiring a baker to make donuts in the fall/winter so my kitchen gets more use in the off-season. There's no one within 50 miles of me making a good donut.

Just a regular glazed donut. Nothing fancy. It was good, not great.
