Hard boiled egg

Small Tupperware, like a 4x4, 1/2 full of water

Drop in egg, close lid

Brisk shake, remove your perfectly peeled egg

You are welcome

If this works, this is one of the best hacks ever.

Guys, if you properly boil an egg, you shouldn't need a hack to peel it. Just fucking peel it.

I mean, it takes me like 20 seconds to peel an egg. Wtf are you guys having issue with?

Also, that guy Greedo had some good hacks on the first two pages of this thread.

When grilling fish, out the fish on a bed of lemon slices. Kills the fishy smell, adds a lemon zing and keeps fish from sticking to grill or breaking up and falling through

doug is in a different tax bracket than I

Not quite a hack, just different..
To switch it up a bit with your boiled eggs, give the eggs a brisk shake before boiling.. this breaks the yolk and crated a golden look to the egg once shelled.

I used the standard spoon and peel method, though. Didn't have the time to try the new method you mentioned.

I've done this, but you REALLY have to shake them. Best way I've seen is to put them in a sock and fling it around vigorously.

My all time favorite cooking hack though is nut brittle in the microwave. X-posted, see burts microwave cooking thread. Not joeys inferior imposter thread
