When grilling fish, out the fish on a bed of lemon slices. Kills the fishy smell, adds a lemon zing and keeps fish from sticking to grill or breaking up and falling through

Not quite a hack, just different.. To switch it up a bit with your boiled eggs, give the eggs a brisk shake before boiling.. this breaks the yolk and crated a golden look to the egg once shelled.

I've done this, but you REALLY have to shake them. Best way I've seen is to put them in a sock and fling it around vigorously.
