I know, I love curry. The pumpkin actually had some almond milk in it and peanut butter (I know it sounds weird but it was in the recipe so I tried it and it was good!) So it was pretty creamy without any dairy. |

I actually put almond butter in spaghetti squash with a splash of coconut milk (alternative to oatmeal), doesn't sound weird at all! |

Hey soup dragons, is there a general rule of thumb when it comes to veggie stock versus meat stock? |

I know certain soups, french onion for example, almost always calls for beef stock. But I use a vegetable stock for everything and it's always tasty |

I find myself using veggie stocks more than anything else because that's what I always end up making after cooking something else. However, I had none in my fridge today and went to the soup aisle for a quick fix. I settled for veggie because that's what I'm used to. |

Not the biggest soup fan. I love myself some clam or seafood chowder and a good beef stew, but other than that I pretty much only touch the occasional bowl of chicken or turkey soup that my mom made. |

I only use vegetable stock and vegetable bullion. There are a ton out there with different flavors. Brandee, there is on that is "beef-less" that you could use for french onion or any that normally calls for beef stock. It's good. |

Do you ever go to panara bread? If you do, next time if you are in the mood for some soup, try some broccoli and cheese or the black bean soup in a bread bowl, they are both great to try for something different |

You can get Panera bread soups in the deli section of the grocery store now. Some are decent. |
