lucky guess. my wife went to Boston for a work thing in Jan 2020 right before Covid turned the US tango uniform, and I tagged along. we stayed one night at a hotel next to Fenway, and the guy at the front desk told us to try a slice from regina, and have them toss it in the oven for a few to crisp the bottom again.

it was okay.

Yeah Regina's is good but it's wicked overrated. It was a lot better before they expanded.

like spread some tomato paste and shredded mozz on a piece of toast and nuke it, if quality isn't a concern.

what kind of giardiniera do you use?

coincidently, i was talking to a friend last night and blurted out how al's beef is the most overrated beef in the city. the giardiniera is super bland with no big chunks of crunchy celery, carrot, or green olives. f' them.
