I'm glad I'm not the only one eating the same meal for lunch every day.

We're speaking the same language, man. I have a wedding dress I have to squeeze into and I'd rather not be popping out of it like an open can of biscuits on the day.

You mean like a Kentucky Hot Brown? I'd destroy that on a normal day. Alas, tuna sandwiches for me until I'm wed and have successfully trapped my future husband. Then I can get fat.

Classic bechamel (1tbsp butter, 1tbsp flour, 1 cup milk), simmer to desired thickness, stir in shredded gruyere, finish with a bit of freshly grated nutmeg.

He does indeed. And I cook a LOT. Similar to many folks, I got aggressively into baking and sourdough bread during COVID.

Well, today I guess I had brunch. I made some corned beef hash with leftover corned beef and had a couple of sunny side up eggs. Not as good as the canned but still yummy.
